I bought my deck kit in the hopes to save time and money and was not disappointed. The class was interesting, and they made the process easy to understand. A friend and I built the kit over a weekend, and celebrated Sunday night with a barbeque. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a quick DIY project where you get more bang for your buck.
More for less all the way. I got the best materials I could ask at a price that was inline with other contractors for a much less quality product. I was happy with all the support I received during the class and after whenever I had questions. Installing the decking took a little longer than I thought, but the result is professional.
The class saved me. I was skeptical at first, but ODK assured me that I would be able to do this. They took the time to walk me through all the steps of my Kit and even gave me the tools I would need. It was a larger project than I thought I could do, but with help from friends and the great support from ODK I was able to celebrate my son’s fourth birthday with friends and family on a deck I built. Super cool!!!!
I have built decks in the past and have to say this was the easiest deck I built. I ended up being short screws and one deck board. The Original Deck Kit ran it out same day (Saturday) and helped me finish. Thank you.
This was a fun weekend project. I got a couple of friends together and we had it built in about 8hrs. Well worth the sweat equity.
They did the ledger and the footings for us. This was the two things keeping us from building it sooner. The Original Deck Kit staff made the process quite easy and answered any questions I had even on the weekend. It took us a few evenings to finish things up, and ODK built out stairs for us. Highly recommend this to anyone looking for high quality products and the opportunity to save money.
